glute injection

The first injection I ever did was in my glutes and I could reach with my left hand to hold it while i asperated with my right. its been 6 weeks so I poked the needle in then releaized ive gotten to big to reach back with my left hand and hold it to asperate. so I had to asperate all shacky basicly the hole injection was super shacky... I see some bad PiP in my very near future.

Yes, one handed for me too Firepal. Take your time and try not to move the needle too much, otherwise you'll end up cutting the muscle tissue unnecessarily. Think of the tip of the needle as a micro scalpel.

my first couple times it was really shaky, but I'm getting better at it, I dunno how you could get two hands back there.

I can't inject with one hand. I move the needle around too much.

I had the same problem with not being able to reach my glutes. Research ventrogluteal injection. There is a much easier spot to hit kinda on your hip. Works well for me and is almost painless.

I've had some bad pinning experiences when I first started out both involved delts. One time I moved the needle and damaged blood vessels and left a huge nasty (unexplainable) scar. Another time I ran short on pins so used a slin pin. It took me so long to do I cramped up and had to stop to stretch and poke a second time. You live and you learn, you'll get the hang of it man.

Maybe because you weren't expecting to do it with one hand it came out worse than if you had anticipated it. I'm sure next one will be better.

I can twist around and do it with both. Never had a problem with that.
