It's a freaking roller coaster for me. You bust your ass for a few years, then take a break due to life, etc. During that time, you lose more or less all your gains. then you start again. this last time i've been at it for over 3 years, but due to age and multiple injuries, this is the hardest/longest i've had to work to get to 245.

so my strategy has changed to minimize risk of injury and to stay motivated somehow. This board can really help with the motivation.

Agree with both of you.. I had shoulder and knee surgeries done this past year, yet I still have a lot of mass on my frame I shot up to 290 lbs and currently I'm at 275 lbs. I get a complete blood work done in a few weeks and will start working out again. Life has slowed me down, I've done a few cycles and at my best was 242 lbs 12% bf and was very very happy..
