    I always had really bad elbow pain for a couple of years and I got a message on both elbows the pain getting it done was brutal , the pain after the message I thought I did the wrong thing , the next day no pain and no elbow pain since three years now and nothing , touch wood long may it last

    I agree with taking time off, I had been having pain on and off for years then last december was hospitilized for an unrelated matter and was out of the gym for a month. Since then both arms have been completely pain free.

    One other note: my buddy who is a personal trainer and long time lifter told me to never change the angle of the wrist (contracting the wrist) while doing curls etc. This also made a huge difference in the amount of pain felt when I did have the tears and I am sure has a lot to do with them not redeveloping since my layoff.
