You got that right. Lets see where unemployment is at in a few years and the stock market. Look what the stock market did after election day.

^^^^ give it a few months. Coal mines are already shutting down due to his unfriendly policies against coal, he claims that he bolstered the oil drilling industry, that means they have all gone elsewhere to produce millions in revenue for other countries, I have a friend who employs 200 people who just told me that his ins co projected 100% increase in costs for his business....he says he may as well shut it down, why work hard to go bankrupt? Of course gays can marry and abortions can be had at the corner market and free shit will be had by all........ as we slowly lose everything we ever worked for but hey, some freeloading sonofabitch will enjoy it for a while anyways.

BTW......the arms treaty with the UN is as good as gold this time around, of course none of the people with common sense were fooled by any of this bullshit in the first place............ I'm so glad Romney didn't get elected..... could you imagine how horrible it would be if people had to EARN what they had and had the same rights that were afforded them by the founders of this country......horrible!!!!

I am a business owner and voted for Romney, but I was (am) truly ashamed of the Republicans

The ultra conservative Christian right has ruined the party. I want smaller government. I want effective regulation without useless bureaucracy. I want less nation debt. But why do I need to side with a party that will set back women's, minority and gay rights back decades? How can I support a party who will let their faith override scientific fact?

It is guys like me (40s, white, male, business owner) that Republicans depend on, but many of us are being alienated as they turn into bigger dicks.

Watching the primary debates was repulsive. Their ignorance was only matched by their viciousness.

I am not a fan of Dems either because they have upped their extremism as well. Those two parties are so caught up in holding power that they no longer serve us or our interests.

Sorry for typos. Typing on my phone.

As the owner of Construction company I'm facing the same challenges as your friend. His policys really do make it unpossible for a Company to operate by the book and actually turn a profit.
I already know a few companies that are getting away from all W2 employees. They are going to all W9 employees so they can cut out paying payroll tax, workmans comp, and benefits due to his policys.

You are 100% correct about the the ultra conservative Christian right ruining the party. There are 2 things that don't belong in politics and that is women and religion.

We are ALL ashamed of the Republican party..... unfortunately their are only two choices and this time around the best choice was the one who would allow our economy to grow again not stifle it with socialist regulations. As far as womens rights and gay rights go.....what has any president done for either besides voice his opinion?

I see his cabinet members are scattering like roaches, not even the extreme left wingers want to be associated with this douche bag for the next 4 years.........even Hitlery is getting nervous.

It's funny (not) how a few people I know and I have also heard a lot on the radio who are from Russia, Ukraine and other places who are pissed off. They say they grew up in a communist country and to them it's obvious what direction he is going and don't understand why others can not see it. Sounds like what I have been saying for quite a while. It's not a Dem/Rep issue but many would like to think so.

At the very least the next 4 are going to be interesting. Again, I Hope/Pray I'm wrong.

Check out the main CPUSA website, They are very much behind him and he is the first president they have endorsed.

It's important to remember that there's a difference in communism and socialism. Socialism is where all all economic issues are controlled by the government on a basis of what it deems fair. Communism takes it a step further into the collective ownership of property. Yes, a very brief generalized description but it's also very hard to make an argument that Obama's policies, ideas and desires are not strongly tied to a socialistic style of thinking. It is, however, and has been a very dirty word in the U.S. for decades and Obama supporters don't like it being tied to their guy but it is socialism in its truest form whether one likes the word or not. Control the economy through the government, that's socialism and it has never worked.

Very good point and I agree, it's more of a Socialist movement but like you said, it's only one step away.
It looks like this could be an interesting development depending on how far it goes.
