Cooking with Bonaparte
With my recent intrest of getting into this little hobby,I was digging around to try to find someinstructional videos. This is it It there enough data here for you guys who know what you are doing to critique this guy? Something you would have done different? Or is there just not enough footage? Sure, this could have went into another thread/forum, but I am sure alot of you guys are alsointerested in at least learning, even if you never make it. Heck, at least it is something to watch that we all love!

I enjoyed watching every single one of American Underworld's episodes on YouTube. I believe Discovery Channel cancelled the series

I would like to find a good video that had instructions. This lifestyle is too much about trial and error, which is fine if you have the funds. I dont, so I would just be crashing gear and losing my money. I remember Basline had a good one up one on "someones" profile, but it has since been gone.

I don't think you'll have much luck trying to find an indtructional video of someone personally explaining how to brew up illegal substances on YouTube, dude. Your best bet in my opinion would probably be PMing some member in this board. I can see why you would find this interesting though; just imagine how much money you would save and how much less of a hassle waiting on your orders to fall through from suppliers would be. Good luck!

Are you serious? I know I am not going to find an instructional video on youtube on how to make injectable drugs. It is called fishing. Not for a source, but for a genius mind.......Maybe, just maybe, he'll take the bait. Also, money saved is money earned. It it is for personal use only, which it is, it will cost me far less than buying from a UGL, or if not, Ill still know the exact dosing and the pride of making it myself!

See, if some of our cookers come onhere and start bashing this guy for "doing that" or "doing this", Ill be able to take advice from a youtube video! See what I am trying to do? Their criticisms would be the actual advice I would take and then write it in my journal and be 1 step closer. That lab forum never gets any traffic anymore.

Well for one... he probably couldn't sit down for days after that video. Never flick the syringe. Even for a fake show that was stupid.

I KNOW!!! Not only did he flick it, but he moved it all over oncehe was pinned. That my friends = PIP! I got to get into this stuff! Looks so fun. Ill let Bona dress like he did in that video and go to an undisclosed area blindfolded to watch how it is made, on my own dime! For documenatry purposes only that is.

Not sure what the Bonaparte reference is about in the title. The only thing I could see in relation is the plastic tarps covering the rooms, resembling a kill room.

This has also crossed my mind. I have a willing friend who has a business in screen design and a whole, empty shop attatched to it. About 2000 square feet, electrical outlets everywhere, I have several propane hot plates. Dont have much of anything else, but I am sure I got more than alot of guys had when they started. Plus, this shop is where he keeps his veterinarian drugs and pins for his cattle farm. Finaplex H pellets everywhere. That might even be an outlet if he was caught. He letters every cop car, firetruck and ambulance in a 50 mile radius. He is tight with the cops, so we might could fill them out....Just a thought.

I saw that vid like 2 years ago.
Though they barely showed any of the process, I can safely say that his process was crap...but real.
Again, Warmouth, I have hundreds of posts with tips and tricks in the lab section. Just comb through there, and I'll help you out with any other specifics.

You doubt me?
Either someone really did their homework on powder packaging, brewing equipment etc, or they just found an actual idiot UGL cook. Which is more likely?
Sure, it may have been a seized lab with an actor working it, but who cares? He himself isn't what anyone is interested in.

The idea of importing bulk powder and being investigated for manufacturing scares me WAY more than being "possibly" investigated for personal use!

I wanna do this so bad but as others have stated the risks are just crazy for me. I guess Im scared, lol
What you guys mean you dont flick the needle like that??? I always do so I can cause more damage to the muscle and it repairs itself bigger, lol. KIDDING

Well, the water bath is a bad idea.
The way he fills his vials is amateurish.
But I've chatted with several UGL owners and this really is how they do this stuff.
Also, he really had no understanding of the chemistry involved, but neither do most UGL cooks.
I still think it's real, since I didn't see any giveaways. Hell, if I were to do a show like that, I'd probably act like a nut too, just to have some fun and scare the crew. lol

Just heat on a hot plate or my preferred method is to swirl your beaker above a low flame (I'm talking about 12 inches away)
I find that is a good way of getting even heat, a hot plate will obviously just heat the base of your beaker...
If u do the open flame method just remember if ur burning your hand your probably holding the beaker too close or have the flame too high...

Agreed or at least with an open top or vented.
NO!!!
Agreed with in Bold.
I saw a couple of things that also were silly. He had the cup/beaker covered with tin foil when filling it with the syringe as if it would keep out contaminants then it was open top in the water to heat.
The powders should have been added after heating.
Not once (except in the preview) did I see him use any filters. BIG no no but in reality it's probably a lot more common that one would think and a easy way for someone to cut corners, save a LOT of time and make more $$$
After watching it a couple more times I do see Vac filters on the shelf and preview they just dont show him using them but then they dont show several things in the process. This is all due to READING I have done in the forums...Last edited by lovbyts; 11-11-2012 at 12:50 AM.
