    World War Z trailer

Looks good, I like the idea of witnessing the beginning of a zombie apocalypse. Also, I much prefer running zombies to shambling ones.

I still need to read the book. I've been a fan of all the Zombie survival books, etc.

I just don't like the idea of running zombies. I agree with this guy's opinion on the sprinting zombies... (skip to about 3:45).

I want to read the book as well, but online nerds that have read the book say this film has nothing in common with the book, other than the title.

I had the volume turned way up good trailer lol. Brad Pitt well just about every movie he makes in gold so I'm expecting something wonderful. I need to add a footnote. I, Legend was a CGI'd piece of shit. I read the book (sorry to be that I-read-the-book guy) and in the book the vampires are scary as f- totally nosferatu meets zombie apocalypse. Then you watch the movie and its a bunch of digital graphics walking around and snarling totally sucked. So I mention that as a footnote because that could really mess this movie up if they over CGI it.

As far as the "olympic runner" zombies the guy mentions, he is totally right. What is happening there imo is this. Theres a phrase for it I can't remember but I'll call it creative liberty. I love shambler zombies and graveyard zombies the best personally, the slow scary ones. But those things would never take over the earth. They just wouldn't. So hollywood throws in olympic runner zombie to say what you gonna do now?

I guess I'm one of those nerds but from the trailer and what I heard about during production the movie only shares the title with the book. Which is sad the book was great. The movie looks good but just another popcorn action movie.

I have read the book and I honestly did not see what all the hype was about? Interviews with survivors who except for a few hardly even mentioned zombies. I am glad they are changing it around but not a fan of running zombies at all. Probabally because that would be the scariest part of a zombie appocolypse. Not being able to get away from the bastards.

Good point. Would you care to come over for dinner?

This reminds me of when my daughter was about 7 she was playing with a little neighbor boy in the back yard. I called her in for dinner. I asked her (rehearsed) in front of the boy do you remember what we had for dinner 2 days ago? She said yes we had Dog. He look like ??? I said do you remember what we had yesterday? She said yes we had Cat. He is ??? I said do you know what we are having today? She said yes, KID... I then asked him if he wanted to stay for dinner. He declined. LOL
