    Question

Didn't think I should post in Q&A so I tried here.

I am currently on cycle but not sure if my issue has to do with it.

I've been having tingling feeling in my left arm for about 2-3 days now. Could this be a BP issue? My BP was perfect doc said one week before cycle and usually always is. So that is why I am asking.

    Cycle is

    Test e 500/wk
    Mast e 600/wk

    Thanks guys

Sounds more along the lines of nerves from lifting heavier

Have you checker you bp at the very moment this is happening?

I can't give a medical answer. I know that it's usually my pinky fingers and maybe ring fingers. Usually after a huge pump in arm or shoulders. Mine goes and comes. Hasn't happened in a while. But when I was doing a lot of growing it was weekly.

Yeah wasn't expecting a DOC's answer but what u just explain is basically what I'm getting. So I won't worry and continue to monitor BP thanks

I would suggest you, as well as everyone else go and get a BP monitor. They are cheap in relation to your health. It is probably not the issue, but you need to get one just to check it a couple times a week. They are not expensive and safer than sorry. When BP is an issue, you usually arent sorry, you usually suffer in ways that you arent able to be sorry. Be careful and safe. Good luck!

I have 2 pinched nerves in my neck and the same thing was happening. It would travel down and effect the pointer/middle finger in my left hand. It s prob just from the growth around it, but I would def keep an eye on ur BP.

BTW, it actually got better when I was on.

I would almost bet it's not Bp if you have that Bp at the time of tingling?? Was it tingling at the moment of Bp being checked?

This is not uncommon, but certainly shouldn't be disregarded. You should be very concerned if while your arm is tingling, you experience any pain in the jaw or chest. That would be the time to head over to ER.

Could also be a host of things such as carpal tunnel, poor blood circulation, etc.. could also be a vascular issue where fluids are cut off from the arm tentatively, this would also lead to numbness.

Axx, no tingling at time of BP test. But the test was 30 mins after an intense workout and took a pre work out before that if that makes a difference. Not sure of it does.

Aust, def concerned since this is ongoing for coming up into 2 weeks. No jaw or chest pains or anything though.

    You're welcome.

"Perfect" is a range, not really two numbers (systolic and diastolic) So you were in a very good range. 120/80 ish

Mickey, is this warranted a doc visit of it persists? Has not gone away.

Im no doc either, so i'll only comment on your BP. It's very good and nothing to worry about in that department.

Yeah that's wht I figured. But got to the point of "pins n needles" like the arm falls asleep. Would blood flow, be a issue if BP is ok though?

Sorry be honest I am worried now since its been so long that it has felt like this

I want to say no, but i honestly don't know.

This is a delicate and potentially serious medical question, so i really don't want to even attempt an answer. Perhaps Muscle ink will chime in in he sees this.

Could be several things going on. Peripheral sensory neuropathy comes to mind. Let me read the thread through. I'll have f/u questions.

    Goode80,

Where exactly is the point of origin of the pain? You mentioned tingling in your fingers. Is the pain radiating along the arm or just at the fingers?

Any shortness of breath, light headedness, fatigue?

Is the pain constant or comes and goes?

Is the pain dull or sharp?

Is it effecting any strength or motor movement in the affected arm or hand?

What and how much of an AI are you taking?

Are you using any GH, IGF, or insulin ?

Are you taking any prescription meds for anything?

"pain" orgin starts maybe lower end of tricep/ elbow area. There isn't really pain per say. Discomfort yes.

Tingling when strong goes from shoulder to fingers.

    Always comes and goes.

    I guess would say dull.

    No strength issues or movement.

Ai is l-dex from ar, .25 eod.

    No gh or anything.

No prescriptions as all, but do take CIA and via from ar-r .

    Thanks for the help guys.

Ok, well the symptoms are reassuring from a clinical view. The pain is lower extremity; radiating down from the elbow to finger tips. I'd be more concerned about any pain radiating from the shoulder downward or higher. No shortness of breath or fatigue is also a positive sign.

Most of your symptoms suggest PSN which could be due to inflammation, peripheral edema, or a compartmentalized nerve. If there is no swelling in your wrists, feet, or hands, then I'd rule out peripheral edema. Can you locate your pulse at your wrist? If yes, compare it with the opposing arm and see if it is weaker or the same.

Have you tried any anti-inflammatories yet? Any heat on the area?

If heat and NSAIDS don't help and the problem persists or worsens, some lab work and a diagnostic scan would be helpful.

How long has the pain been there now - since it first began?

I will try taking my pulse and see today.

No anti, no heat except I have used a "Icey hot" a few times.

This has gone on now for almost 2 weeks or so.
