Electrical contractions
My buddy bought this belt that has 3 electrical pads like a defib. for ur abs. Do u think these things work at all? When I put it on and crank it up and have it ok for like 40 minutes my abs r quite tired. They pulse at different rates and every now and again it will actually double me over. Thoughts?

My brother once bought one because he wanted to have a ripped six pack. He never got one. If I were going to but so etching like that I would rather spend the money on a small electro therapy machine. They are way more fun lol

It could assist if you have paralysis. But it's not a "Muscle building tool". Otherwise I'd get a full body suit and shock the hell out of myself until I looked like coleman.

I thought maybe the constant contraction just got the blood flowing in the muscle and gave u a "pump"

Muscle has to be damaged and repaired for growth. Contractions don't do that. You can flex all day long for a year. You wont gain anything but burn a few calories.

There is a huge difference between a micro topical contraction these machines provide, and the deep, full muscle, macro contraction one gets from a proper routine.
You either have a tens unit designed for pain relief, or some other contraption used to prevent muscular atrophy for those either bed ridden or unable to hit the gym.
No short cuts here mate.
Good luck!
