Work out shoes? Need a new pair looking for recommendations
Hey all, my Nike Cross trainers are getting tired. I have used this same thing for years and was wondering what everyone likes and can recommend for a good bodybuilding shoe? I see the powerlifters using boots for squats, etc. makes sense to support ankles, etc. My focus has always been serious bodybuilding. Any thoughts?

No cowboy boots, no rubber boots, no snow boots, no high gloss dress shoes, no slippers or flip flops; unless in Thailand or Philippines. Other than that most everything else is G2G especially any form or tennis shoes.

I say the same thing every time these threads pop up. High top converse all stars. Work great for me and they are cheap.

They have no padding/foam in the sole. That way there is no wasted energy when I do anything that requires pressing of my feet against an object. Flat soles like Chuck Taylor's or wrestling shoe/boots. They fit me better than Chucks though!

I've been wearing an old pair of sketchers that have a few rips in them. They feel comfortable and support my feet good. I don't see the point in making a fashion statement when you're supposed to be just going there to workout and get all sweaty.
Although if somebody offered to pay for my gym membership fees, I'd wear the bunny slippers.
