    Oh brother !

Do you use the word brother? What does it mean to you ?

I recently got talking to a bloke in my gym, he's OK, I like listening to what he has to say, but now he has started calling me "bro", I'm not sure how I feel about this as I've only known him a short while. Now the second point is that he isn't using AAS . So is bro uses for gym goers or steroid users ?

A lot of guys use "bro" very casually. It doesn't mean anything. It is like "dude." I know a lot of young car guys that constantly say "bro" in the same way that bodybuilders seem to.

Bro and brah have simply become mainstream terms anymore. While Bro for years has been associated with "someone kool or gtg in the AAS world" it has really blown up for sure to to the late,no so great, dbag that all the kiddies look up 2!

Brother used in it's entirety is something I may use myself when greeting an actaul friend but am not a big fan of bro or brah unless I'm in a zyzz mood lol!

Just a casual term I use with someone I like or I'm comfortable with. No different than "brother", "man", "dude", "boss", "big dawg", "buddy", "bud", etc...

    Hate the word "brah" though

Most of us were sued by Jeffrey Lebowski for copyright infringement so we switched to Bro

I hate that f*cking word. The only person I call my 'bro' is my actual brother.

I've told people to stop calling me that before but it's so mainstream nowadays I just gotta let it slide.

People that I would consider 'brothers' (and are not blood related ones) are guys I've been in serious brawls and other messed up situations with... and you wanna know what the weirdest thing is? We don't even call each other 'bro'.

"Don't bro me if you don't know me" <--- I wish people lived by that nowadays.

Yup. I don't see this as an issue. I hear it a lot in the gyms in SoCal. Never bothered me.

There's a huge difference between bro and brah. Bro is like saying dude or bud or whatever but the people who say brah well I can't say on the open board.

Eh Broski, don't harsh the mellow! When a bro slaps you with a bro- just take it brotha!!! Ain't nuthin to think twice about brah! Dog bounty hunter said it, and nobody bothered him.

If you're (or anyone for that matter) uncomfortable being called bro, you should get a sissy name like twat or sweetcheeks after that. I'm guessing you're on cycle and maybe a little more ruffled than usual. Otherwise I cant understand why anyone would mind being called bro, brotha, brother, brohim, bro-job... Ok that last one is gay but u get the drift bro

This reminded me of the old show "full house" when the little girl would say to uncle Jesse "don't call me squirt, squirt!"
