There's a guy on the Hagley Road, Quinton (I think) who is highly recommended, I've seen his work but don't have any.

Not ink free no. I have 3/4 sleeve to finish (Japanese) but my artist emigrated. The guy I want to finish it is in London and I've just been too lazy to go see him, I'll only need another 4 hours.

Have a 20 year old tribal design on the other arm which is ok but may get removed at some point.

Love ink, wish I had the bottle to do more!

Do tattoo artists make decent money if they get a reputation? What if they are just run of the mill artists is it like a 10 dollar an hour job for them in that instance? Just curious

I don't know what the 'take-home' is for tattooist, but my guy charges £40/hr or £35/hr if you book 8 hours!
So I imagine that the salary is semi decent, providing you're a good tattooist!

Dude it depends if its your studio or you rent the chair...
EG where I had my right sleeve done the guy who owns the studio won all sorts of accolades and prizes (& I worked with him as an acid tanker driver ) he opened it ete he doesn't work there any more sore the other artist rent chairs off him and they basically give him 75% of there earnings everyday

If your really good with a massive rep as in Kat vondee ,Chris garver the guys in London ink Louis especially Ashe does a lot of celebrity ink you can charge what you want

I don't think there is a 10$ job as an artist lol
