    ice fishing.

    Pretty excited bring my son ice fishing tomarrow. He has his own rod/reel with a lil tackle box, its all he has been babbling about today. Just thought I would share lol

    ^ Thats a good time. Good for you and have fun with your son.


    We used to have little huts we pulled out on the ice once the ice was thick enough. We had heaters in there, played cards, jigged, even had a couple beers. We put out tip-ups mostly, so as soon as you saw the flag, just head out and pull it in. Great time.

    yeah, its amazing how many advancements have come in these past few years from flashers to the portable houses. I just got the the clam x-2 thermal house, f*ckin amazing!

    What's the public land opportunities like up there Hunter? I like to bird and waterfowl hunt mostly, but hunt big game quite a bit as well.

    Wats dangerous about hunting? Hunting is a lot safer than walking the streets in any city at night.

    Big game you wont get access and the public land is crowded for waterfowl any farmer will let you hunt duck and geese. You need to get up here two weeks before the season starts for scouting.

    Sounds like a great time. Perch used to be my favorite, but walleye is my fav now.

    For instance the ice breaking threw, and u getting pulled with the current underneath the ice.

    It doesnt happen often. It normally happens because people are retarded. They drive over a pressure ridge or go out to late/early. I drove my full size pick up out today and wasnt worried with 15 inches of ice.
