Wisdom tooth extraction
So I just started an 8 week test/tren blast 1.5 weeks ago. My mouth started hurting last week and I thought it was just a canker sore or something and blew it off. Friday night I went and trained legs and when I was done my mouth was throbbing with pain. When I got home, I noticed that I had a wisdom tooth coming in sideways.
I went to the dentist Saturday morning and I found out that I have to have surgery for a partial boney impaction. Right now I'm taking Lortab for the pain and I am going in for surgery either Monday or Tuesday.
Anyone have any experience with something like this? How long were you out of training for?

Thanks for the response - That's about what I was expecting to hear.
I went ahead and stocked up on greek yogurt, skim milk, eggs, cottage cheese and oats. My blender is going to be pretty busy this week with my sugar-packed liquid diet. I'd rather do that though than not eat at all.
I'm running the test at 500mg/wk (250mg 2x week) and the tren at 700mg/wk (100mg ED). What would be the best thing to do from a gear standpoint? I am currently blasting and cruising (200mg/week for cruise) and I'm on week 1.5 of my 8 week blast. I plan on just keeping it as it is so that my levels are stable. Could/should I drop the tren to EOD or keep it ED? Common sense tells me to keep it at ED for stable levels.

Had mine out not so long ago under general and it was a bitch for a couple of weeks. Depends on a few things, whether they stich you and how much bone they have to remove, they had to take a bit of my jaw out to get to mine so obviously took longer to recover.

So glad the Army didn't take mine out but the longest anyone couldn't workout was about a week. Nothing to worry about to much, your body may benefit from the rest.

I had 4 teeth removed and have been thankful for it as even with those (2 back top 2 back bottom) removed I still barely have room in my mouth for my teeth

take care of it man dont try shovelling food down is what I would say.
Essentially you can either eat just smoothie shake things for 2 days or try and chomp down on food get a dry socket and be ****ed for a week or more.

You should be fine within a few days. Maybe get some weight gainer shakes or something to make sure you get enough cals in if you're going to keep lifting. Make sure to rinse your mouth with warm salt water (yeah it's gross but it works) to prevent dry socket.
Good luck!!Last edited by twitz; 01-14-2013 at 03:24 PM. Reason: Good luck

Thanks for all of the responses. I had my surgery this morning and they had to remove a lot of bone. The numbness is starting to wear off so now I just have my painkillers and it's pretty uncomfortable mainly because it won stop bleeding.
Lunk, however the hell you ate Taco Bell is beyond me.
To everyone that commented, were your teeth/tooth impacted or did you just have to have your wisdom teeth removed?

One removed and the other was impacted into 4 pieces. Same side so I chewed my beef Mexi melts on the opposite side. Within an hour of my back surgery and still in a daze from the anasthesia, I also demanded taco bell and craweld slowely out of the car and hobbled through the door.
I'll endure great pain for Taco Bell apperantly lol

I had all 4 removed at the same time. None were impacted. . . I was stupid and ate the same night. The food got stuck in the sockets, so I had to pick it out with tweezers. My mouth just poured the darkest blood I have seen.
This was the first time I started drinking my meals. It worked for a solid 3 days without issues.
