Just found out from the DA that they have lack of evidence to pursue my charges! ( Still have 1 year to re open if more evidence presents itself, it wont ) I have been very stressed about this and spending too much money. This was huge for myself and my family. Just wanted to give you guys an update. Thanks for all the support iv had from many of you!!

I wouldnt go as far as corrupt... all problems in any system come from past problems that are trying to be bandaid-ed...
If there actually were enough evidence to move forward at some point, your lawyer could go back and ask why certain procedures were not done in order to start any claim or reference for future sentencing.
It all goes back to somewhere when someone did something that wasnt warranted and now they dont really know how to proceed while everyones hands are tied by interpretation of "the law"

Stay away from her and fire your atty. They need 2 years for just telling you that. Plea bargains are an everyday occurance and i did 18 months for a lot more than that. But i just did my time cause im not down w/ reporting and paying the state to keep me out of the joint. In other words, pay them and kiss their ass cause they bank on the fact no one wants to go to jail. Well, correct. But i'll be damn if i kiss their ass.
Anyway, good luck. You'llprobably have orders to keep away or you will get arrested. Too many criminals out there to lock up small timers. Find another atty.
