    4 on - 4 off

In the next few weeks I'll be starting a new job which will mean I will be working 4 days 12 hour shifts and then having 4 days off, pretty nice shift really - what I'm planning to do is train on my 4 days off and rest on my 4 days on just wondering what thoughts / insights anyone may have into this?

If its a case of there really isn't going to be enough hours in the day on the work days I would pick a muscle group I either love or need to bring up and hit it at least once during the 4 days working cycle. So maybe chest or biceps to pick an example. Especially biceps I can go in the gym and absolutely destroy them in a half hour to where I come out and can't stop staring at myself in the mirror and flexing next to my roomie who doesn't lift.

I think your thinking correctly dude. Should work pretty well. Monitor it though because I feel like that may be a bit to much rest
