Out of line (apology)

Recently there have been a cpl threads in the lounge that involved female members where alot of sxual inuendos and things of a flirtasious manner have been thrown around alot! For a cpl days I let my self get wrapped up in this behavior and it was even pointed out to me by another member (thank you)!

I want to publicly apologize first and foremost to my wife for saying things that are no doubt and without question innapropriate for a married man to say to a women! I allowed my self to get carried away in the fun and reteric to the degree where I lost sight of right and wrong! No doubt if the shoe where on the other foot and I were to see her making some of the same or simailair comments to another man...I would be furious to say the least!

I also apologize to those that I may have said these things too. While taken in good fun they are still not exceptable things to be said by a happily married man! I meant no disrespect or ill intent!

It's easy for a man to get carried away in flirtashious talk as it can easily feed his ego...which all men crave! Again...my sincerest appologies to all, especially my wife whom I love dearly by the way !

Weiner. You are a great man and husband. I don't think anyone here would think different. You've made it clear how happy you are with your wife, and even encouraged many of us to be better husbands. IMO you're a big man for coming out and making this apology. I too got caught up in this kind of behavior over a year ago, but it got out of control and was partly the cause of what would turn into a lot of heartache and tough times between me and my wife. I wish I had caught myself sooner and realized what I was doing; what seemed innocent (and certainly was) was still inappropriate and as you said, if my wife were doing the same with guys, I'd be fuming.

This could be true of any thread or post realistically any place where male and females interact on repeated occasions whether it be work, church, clubs, bars, sport events, parties, social gatherings, Internet sites... People build bonds feel comfortable and will make jokes... Anyone on the outside looking in who isn't apart of that is always going to think it is more than what it is... It's human nature... ESP with spouses
