Yeah, a lot of the "normal" Thai girls I meet first online tell me they don't like Thai guys. I always ask them if it's because they got small dicks but only about 70% say that's the reason...the other 30% are either shy on the subject or say that it's something else (but never tell me what that means).

For some that is just a line to get you more interested. Some say that because they dont want a local Thai guy because they know there is no or little possibility for a good future $$$. Some say it is because a high percentage of Thai guys are pretty abusive and they know most of the time they will be treated better by a foreigner, most of the time..

I know with Filipino woman, it comes from the Filipino men's way of always having a mistress on the side and they are such committed woman in a relationship they want someone who will be a faithful husband.

Ya, my wife doesn't care for them. She says many Asian men don't treat their women with respect and have extramarital affairs.

She wouldn't date or marry an Asian guy if he was the last man on earth......but I suppose men of any ethnicity/race could fit that category as well.

IMO Filipino women make better wives in the LONG run. The first couple of years can be quite a challenge from my experience and from others I know but they are more family oriented, more/better work ethics and wanting to save and make financial gains for the immediate family (your/her) vs sending ever penny home.
Yes I Thailand most men are expected to cheat even if they dont have money. In Philippines it's more of a status thing and if you can afford a 2nd wife called a stewardess or despensera it's somewhat acceptable and even expected.

That being said in either country if you wife looses face or it's made public you can expect to be another John Bobit. They have actually gotten quite good at successfully re attaching mens severed penis in Thailand. yes really.

Lovbyts, lol I will remember that. We been married 7 months but its been all smoothed. My wife is from old school Filipino. Very strict upbringing, but she has made me and my life better so no worries here.

Good to hear. yeah mine had old school upbringings but I have had to threaten STRONGLY sending her home to mom and dad a few times. lol Parents usually want to talk to me and want me to visit more than her. lol

Part of the reason with her I think is because she was 100% independant. Worked as the head accountant for Vovlo large machinery for 7 years. Owned her own house, raising a kid on her own. Culture shock/change to no job, poor prospects for accounting/secretarial, some language barrier, insecurities and being a at home home maker in the US.

She is also very frustrated with our US government and all the ignorance going on so I have to keep her from watching the news.

She is also not typical Ph in other ways though. Has not sent home 1 penny. Not nearly as sociable as most Ph women. No femal friends here, only acquaintances. She wont go anywhere with anyone else. No going out with girls even shopping???

She finally decided to take a lower level job at a large Filipino market with a food court. This is great because it gives her lots of other people to interact with and she has someone else to complain about instead of me. lol

As far as you 'single' guys who haven't been to Thailand or the PI.....you really haven't lived until you go there. It's hard to explain but just trust me. If you can get over there...definitely do it. All ages are welcome.

In Thai culture the woman isnt held in high regard by Thai men. Just like in any TWC, a woman has her place. SO Thai women as well as women from TWC's prefer a man who will appreciate them as equals.

They must treat them pretty poorly. I don't think I've ever treated a chick as an equal in any relationship I've been in, with Thai girls or otherwise. I guess I'm still pretty good to them though now that I think about it.

Well in comparison to you vs. a Thai man, you do treat them as an equal moreso. So this is why they like us western guys

Universal gym is great, Tony's I avoid. Check the pharmacies on 2nd road, behind beach road. Just check prices. Make sure the packaging is untouched, most have holographs.

You will always pay for sex one way or another. Take your time, find a nice girl, see the doctor. Pay her to look after you alone. She will give you all you want!

Take off the blinders and the thinking that everything and everyplace is the same or should be the same as where you are from.

Its a big world out there with a lot of cultural differences and I can guarantee you a lot of things you do is strange to others.

Until you have spent some time there dont be to quick to judge. Its not exactly the way it sounds.

Yeah I spent a month travelling around Thailand and more than a year in Peru to list the more exotic of my travels. Truly I am well aware things are different all over the world...Regardless,having to medically screen your date is bizarre. For more than just North American cultures.

Philippines is Catholic! Almost every day is some saints holiday. Parts are dangerous, especially as you go further south.

Thailand's culture is perfect for me. You only feel guilt if you are caught and there are no commandments to follow, just a general commitment to try live a good life.

I will never live anywhere else again. In this day and age I would insist on an AIDS test with any woman anywhere in the world!

Here it costs 300 baht. $10 and results are instant other diseases may take 3 days to check. I have never had an STD here or anywhere else and I have lived in a lot of countries. The incidence of STD's in my home town Australia is higher than here!

Sure if you want 5 women a day as long as you stay you will get all the respect you deserve!!!! You will be the same as a very high % of tourists who get ripped off. Good luck, John
