Huge Grizzly Killed By Motorcycle
I received this email in my inbox and immediately thought of TR...Has anyone seen him as of late? Maybe he is picking bear hair out of his teeth....lol
Huge Grizzly Killed By Motorcycle
Can you believe a motorcycle killed this HUGE GRIZZLY? This grizzly was hit by a Harley on Lolo Pass. This is the pass between Lolo, MT and Kooskia, ID.
Lolo Pass, elevation 5,233 feet, is a mountain pass in the northern Rocky Mountains on the border between the states of Montana and Idaho (approximately 25 miles west-southwest of Missoula, Montana).
It is famous as the location where the Lewis and Clark Expedition crossed the summit of the Bitteroot Range via the Lolo Trail.
Check the claws on that sucker!
The biker spent three days in the hospital!
The hog's a wreck!
Lesson learned: Don't go Bear Hunting with a Harley, they're only good for one hunt!!!!!!!!!

Can you guys even imagine what it must have looked and felt like being an early settler and coming across one of these beasts for the first time? Talk about scared shitless! A 12 foot tall standing grizzly snapping at you with those huge feet and claws. One swipe and your ripped into 2 pieces. They are badass beasts! I couldn't even imagine being a cycle rider and seeing your about to hit this grizzly. I'll bet he had hash marks all through his underwear...lol

Moral of the story is that
A Bear May Sh*t in the woods but
A Motorcyclist who hits a Bear Sh*ts in his shorts.....

Ender is right its not a huge GB by any means. The GB that live in montana/Idaho do not have access to the salmon runs that coastal brown bears do thus they are not nearly as large. The salmon runs are what allow coastal grizzlys i.e brown bears to get so big.
