Anyone here have or had one? I'm considering getting one at some point but just want to k ow everyone's personal opinion on it and how much they enjoyed and what are the pros and cons to having one. Thanks ahead of time.

Probably crotch rocket. My dad use to drag race a shit load!!! So that has made me partial to those types. Why dukati?

I have had 3 bikes but I sold each one after a couple of months. I kept seeing myself laid out on the pavement somewhere.

If I was going to get another crotch rocket I would go with Dukati due to style and class.
If I was looking for a cruiser it would be either Harley or BMW

It's absolutely crazy....but they make it work. I had a hard enough time riding solo in VN. Everyone kept clipping my elbows every time they passed. People cram the lanes and the only traffic law in VN is.....DON'T GET KILLED!!!!!

I've had heaps of bikes over the years. Your choice will depend on what u want to do obviously. Go fast? Jap bike. Cruise? Harley. All personal choice. The one thing you have to remember is you always gotta be 2 steps ahead of everybody else on the road

I have a Kawi Concours 1400. If you're not used to riding, no need to go that big. Start out in the 600cc range and get comfortable with riding.

I love those. My next bike will probably be a sport touring bike. I have always rode Japanese bikes since I was a kid and love them. My current bike is a R6 and its basically a race bike with a tag.

Olay I have been riding for years. I've had Kawasaki, Suzuki, and now Bmw. All sport bikes. I've ride cruisers, sport touring and all. It really depends on you. We can all get in here and say get this one or that one and all have valid reasons. I personally have a BMW s1000rr. Ducati is a beautiful bike. Fell a little short on horsepower in the last couple of years. It has a distinct sound due to its dry clutch which I personally find annoying. But to each is own. Any German or Italian or European bike comes with a nice maintenance bill. If your looking for the best bang for your buck, honestly the Kawasaki has the best thing going in the Japanese category. Now, Harley's are nice true enough. But you are buying more of a name than craftsmanship. The last ten years for them has proven this. Again, a Japanese cruiser will be the best bang for buck. I personally like the Suzuki m109. Nice horsepower and beautiful to look at. All Japanese bikes are not as expensive as exotic bikes are over all. If you're just starting out you might not need a liter bike (1000) or bigger. A 750 will be a good starter bike. You will outgrow a 600 very quickly and a 750 is tons of fun. Not too much and not too little.
As I said I've been riding for a while. I road race recreationally. I'm a manager at a motorcycle shop so I know a little something something. But when it comes down to it..... It's the greatest feeling in the world. My personal therapy. No matter how bad things get in life... It all goes away when I'm on two wheels with the throttle wide open. Jus don't rush into anything. Shop patiently. Ask questions. Research the one that catches your eye. If I can help in anyway if you have any questions let me know.

Never owned one, nor do i have a licence for one, i would love a gsxr 1000 though, ALOT of power! I am paranoid i would wrap myself around a pole with it though beautiful bike. Not sure if if trust myself as of yet. Will definitely consider as finance is not the best for me atm.

I got an nice old Harley shovelhead. Lots of fun and nothing better than roaring down the street in a group of buddies owning the road and heads turning everywhere to see what the commotion is. When you park it in a line of 25 bikes and people are constantly stopping and looking at them and asking if they can take pictures- it's pretty awesome...more awesome than going 200miles per hours on a rice rocket and getting clipped. To many accidents on those speed machines for my likings.

750 Katana, 750gsxr and then a 1000 gsxr

Gsxr was a work of art. I havent owned a bike since 2001 when my last one (1000 gsxr) was stolen and I didnt have theft....

I was out of control on my last one. Riding with guys that were way more skilled then I and trying to keep up. Constantly running from the cops. I have no doubt if I had that thing I would be dead.

They are amazing to own and a ton of fun. I was just not responsible enough and having it stolen was a blessing in disguise.

I've had 2001 R6, 2007 Gix 1000, and 2006 Gix 750. The 750 was by far the best for the track but nothing can top the raw power of the 1000!!

instead of asking which motorcycle you should get, instead, decide what you want to do with this motorcycle and then pick a motorcycle based on that.

me personally? I like to be able to take off at the drop of a dime, go anywhere in most weather types, and be comfortable along the way. and my passenger too. but it also has to have style and balls.

me and the bike together weight over 1,000 pounds, but even still, we can get her up to almost 140, and i can haul more shit than any other harley on the market.

My opinion is this, if you can stand the looks of the bike, get a Suzuki SV 650. This bike will last you a few years and will make you a better rider faster than with a super sport or larger displacement sport bike.

If no then pick up a 600cc but get something a few years old. Of the 600's I like the R6 the best. Well, it is the best bike in the class for performance. It is not however the best beginner bike. But its sexy as FUAARKKKK!

i'm a "cruiser" guy. my first bike was a kawasaki kz900 - a real screamer "back in the day". have owned a goldwing, a honda shadow aero 1100, honda vtx 1800. my current (and my favorite) bike is a Harley Road King Classic.

I currently have a Yamaha road star 1700 comfortable, good power and very dependable.
Just remember no matter what brand you buy " noise and chrome gets you home"
