Unless someone has an explenation why I am wrong...I think at the end of the day a Vit is a Vit...as long as it has the things you want.

I try to avoid multis. There's nothing terrible about them, however its much easier to control individual doses with specific vitamins that you can't always do with a multi.
As an analogy, consider blends vs. single esters. The biggest criticism agains AAS blends is that they contain esters of varying lengths each with variable concentrations so its a bit harder to "dial in a dose" compared to a single ester.
The same argument could be made with multivitamins. For the "average male" (whatever he looks like, lol) the recommended daily amount of niacin (B3) is about 16mg. Several members in this board may take more due to the side effects of gear. Maximum daily safe doses of B3 are about 35mg. You could of course increase your multivitamin dose tiger more B3, but that means you'd be increasing your dose of everything else. Recommended doses of zinc for most men is about 10-15mg/day, but members here may take higher doses (daily recommended max is about 50mg). Again, taking more multivitamins would increase your zinc - and increase everything else too!

Yes, BUT, nutritional needs for men and women are different in some facets. I would still advocate separate supplements in lieu of a multivitamin but the required amounts and specific minerals/vitamins would differ. For example, vitamins and minerals that support bone density would be slightly more important to women with age as a result of menopausal changes. As we now know (especially with low T gaining attention) men clearly go through a "male menopause" with advancing years that would change nutritional demands with age.

Flintstones or chewables. I have some stomach issues and GI doctor said that they're better than pills for absorption purposes (for someone like me).
