Honestly what would happen if the US defaulted on paying China ????

Is China going to come over here and take our land???

Unlike the Chinese's people the American people will not just roll over.

So then what they won't allow us to borrow anymore?? Well then the US could block all trade with China right.

I mean China's economy is more depended on us then we them right.

it would be a lose/lose situation:

china would no longer finance our deficit
due to the default, we would have to raise our interest rates on TBills to attract new investors, driving up interest rates not only in the USA but around the world.
Homes would become more expensive to finance
Cars would become more expensive to finance

It would be a total bonehead mistake to default (not pay) our debts

I honestly dont buy this nWo, one world thing.

For a start, why would Europe push for a single currency in our zone, if we were all going to be rolling over for the Yen. Changing from one currency to another is super expensive, not to mention how society in general has to change and adapt.

I sometimes wonder if a one world government would be a good thing. Hear me out before everyone starts calling me a commie! I could see a one world government working in a similar way to the United States of America, only you would have the United Countries of Earth. Every country would effectively have a 'Governor', and every few years, a world leader would elected, but backed by a council. Every country could keep their laws providing they fall into place under a global constitution. Under something like this, economic collapse simply couldnt happen, and in fact everyone would be miles better off and we'd be able to achieve world peace and eliminate things like poverty, famine and war.

This wont happen because of Nationalism, plain and simple. No matter where you are from, people like their old shit too much and will never contemplate wanting to compromise that.
