What is it with the young people these days?

    Coming from a perspective of a young man/kid :
Most people of my age want everything very fast, me and my buddies are going to the gym for some time now , they started at the same time as me(around 3 years ago),but i wasn't so serious at that time, atm i'm 19 and on a cutting diet, seeing nice progress and hoping i might drop from 16% bf to around 11-12% till july, meanwhile buddies who are 1 and 2 years older than me , cycled 3-4 times already w/o any research and crappy pct , even though i spent last 2 years researching and trying to convince them to wait or to do a proper cycle and pct, they told me sarcastically "how can i know anything if i have never done a single cycle?" Well as time went on,they still got no problems at this moment, but i suspect they will have in a year/two/ten, when i talked to them why have they done it,they told me "Bro,now it's time to get the good looks,to catch some chicks, what's the point of looking good later when you're married and all(30+ i assume).", and they keep telling me i progress very slow, It's weird but i think that it's a very popular culture today to get everything you can fast,we even have a motto here "Live fast, die young,be a nice corpse, but at least get some money".
Tbh,I keep wondering are they fools(and everyone else around here) or I'm the dumb one? As much as i resist this "life fast" thing around me , i have the moments of feeling bad because many people of my age look better even though they cycled and might have health issues later but still look way better than i do. So to get to the matter of this , it's not only on the AAS , but on everything else, people consider dealing drugs(harsh ones as coke and heroin) a normal thing if u can get money, and it keeps getting worse. So i wonder..is it the same at your countries? Am i the insane and foolish outcast of society, or it's them?
Open Discussion - i value good opinions.

U sound like a BC Canadian kid... Just how my family describes it. Just remember your values and stay true to that. When your 25 and all their dicks don't work, you'll be the one laughing at them. Train like a freak and pretend you are on steroids in your mind. There is no reason to think you are insane or foolish because you sound like you are the only one around you with a good head on your shoulders.
