Lol, I'm the same man. I have a few select friends that I talk to and we like also a warped sense of humour etc if you want some proper warped and intelligent humour try out Dylan Moran he's an Irish comedian comes out with really dry humour I'm not sure if you will understand all of it as it is mainly based on irishisms if you get me lol. But he is very good at poking fun at people when they least expect.
I find myself doing the above too, but I think it is more related to my job, I do find myself not having as much paistence with idiots in work anymore if I don't like them or they are trying to pull a fast one on me I just don't listen to them and cut them off at the pass.

Hey, i just returned from the gym. So whats the verdict? Is GB a complete asshole or not?
And i was thinking while i was doing wide grip pull downs, 'Hmmm, what about partial - could he be a partial asshole? Why does he have to be complete?' These are the things i ponder while during my workouts.
Hahahaha

Ya know I was thinking. Is the question you ask about, is being a complete asshole or just an asshole sometimes. At times we all show are asses and are as we say an asshole. Complete or not your are an asshole to many and at many different times. Now what makes the real difference for all of us is, would we really want to associate with each other outside the forum. Some times the assholes aren't being assholes, but asshole or not do we like you/them. Being an asshole is just an opinion as we all know and we all have assholes. So are we all assholes like brice...huh So I thought those thoughts would shed a little light on this Question and give us the answer we need and that is you are all assholes. Good thought gbrice. ....crazy mike

In response to the question, I find that I have that same sense of humor, but only in appropriate situations. I have a group of guys and another handful of people that I know well enough to 'bust their balls' and use dark humor around.
For anyone else though, unless we're actually talking about something (not just small talk and 'hey how are you'), there sometimes can be a tension if we aren't quite at that point of joking around. You'd be surprised where you can get away with it though. I attend a lot of political conferences through work and sometimes it just depends on the crowd your with. True story, a few Libertarians and I were at lunch with John Stossel and there were extremely inappropriate jokes being made about Ann Coulter! It was great.
I wouldn't feel bad about it though. In most informal situations, people who can't nod off humor like that usually just have a stick up their a**.

lol... nah man, honestly, not at all. If I were an attention whore, I'd be posting in the lounge a LOT more often. Half the people here don't even know me... but I could do a lot better (if I wanted) to make myself known. Dig?!
bahaha... cvnt!
I'll check him out. You're right though; I probably won't understand him, on 2 levels: 1, I have to get past the accent, and if I do, I probably won't get the content. But, I can try!
Uh... come again!?
^^ well said man, and agreed.

I'm familiar with his name but tbh, I can't say for certain I've heard/seen him. I'll look out now though!
I was thinking more about this, and the thing about me is I'm VERY blunt most of the time... I just call it like I see it, but I (try to) do so in a dark, cynical, sarcastic dry comedic (enough adjectives yet?) kind of way. This way, I avoid it being confrontational (not a fan... my family is very confrontational/argumentative and nobody likes them... I don't wanna be THAT guy) but still get my point across at times. Some people might call that passive-aggressive, but I don't think that's what it is. It's just my own 'lighter' way of getting a point across, without necessarily pissing people off or coming off like a douche. Or, maybe I do just that, idk lol
