Virgin America sued after dispute over soda

Flight 404 left Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday, but fierce winds forced it
to land at Stewart Airport in Newburgh, about 90 miles north of New York.

BURLINGAME, Calif. (KGO) -- A man from Brisbane is suing Burlingame-based Virgin America Airlines after a dispute with flight attendants led to him being questioned by the FBI.

The man verbally asked for a soda, but the crew told him to use Virgin's touch screen ordering system. He objected and a flight attendant finally brought him a soda after his third request.

The pilot on the flight from Philadelphia to SFO accused the man of swearing at flight attendants.

FBI agents declined to arrest the man at SFO. He now wants $500,000.
