I had a brief powerlifting career from ages 20-21. I hit alot of raw untested 110 kilo meets and broke a few minor records. Now i'm so messed up with injuries that i never bench over 3 plates (17 RM), squat over 4 or deadlift over 5. <<< none of this matters tho.

What matters is your elitist attitude. Generally, if you have a problem with somebody else using gear, it is because you are insecure with yourself/your goals/your physique. In other words, get over yourself and don't worry about what other people do.

I kinda have the opposite attitude. I have given 120 pound kids gear, told them that they're gonna mess themselves up bad, and tried to give them lifting advice. It's sickenely entertaining watching them blow up for 20 weeks then watching them lose everything in 3 weeks because they won't take diet/lifting advice.

I hope you're not serious about giving kids gear.

as long as they're having fun its cool by me. Most of them just want to get some muscle for the summer, and they usually get it done. so...props to them i guess.

my point is, the OP shouldn't think he's any better than the rest of us just because he plans on doing contests or something. there's really no great and noble reason to use druugs

buddyguy: torn pec mostly. I crashed a motorcycle at 75 wearing no gear and messed up my knees real bad. also tore some tendon in my knee doing squats.

    Mate,

One thing you will learn real quick around here is we do not condone aas useage for youngsters. Instead, our culture here advocates the "safe" and intelligent use of steroids , so that pretty much eliminates the idea of encouraging those in their early to mid twenties from using.

I'm not going to flame you for this, you are new here. But please take note we do not advise youngsters taking steroids.

If you have any questions, you can ask either me or any experienced member that's been around here for awhile.

    Fair enough?

    ---Roman

at least look at some of these guys when they were growing up before completely ruling out that chemicals beat genetics on any given day. I can see mixed opinions on this, but cant see that my judgment is completely wrong. I rest my case.

Genetics are very involved in how well you respond to working out AND gear. I have friends with the same diets and same gear and workout together but one will double the gains on less doses. Genetics are HUGE. One guy I know is 5'11 and maintains 260 around 9%. When he blasts he jumps up around 280. The most he has ever run is 750 test and 600 deca . And he won't use tren . Genetics man, genetics. If he could afford growth.... Who knows wtf he would look like.

Forget all that. Just bend her over and show her the 50 states. Show a guy 4 shovels and ask him to take his pick.

    I'm losing it...

Hey man I agree with you on the genetics of things in how you respond to gear, I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. Genetics can be looked at in two ways. Your before days of working out/aas use what you used to look like, and genetic days of using the gear/dieting/lifting....all that. I know genetics play a part in how you respond to gear. Some pros can take half the amounts as others yet be bigger. That I can agree with, its obviously true.
