So I Got a Sinus Infection

So I got a bunch of scripts from my doctor today. Mostly my blood pressure pills (needed to be renewed). And anyways I also have this sinus infection. So he prescribed me a corticosteroid, beclomethasone dipropionate as a nasal spray.

The problem I'm wondering about is if this will interact with my test cyp TRT dose that I get from a different doctor? Neither he, nor the pharmacist said anything, but as we all know that doesn't necessarily mean that it's fine.

    Anyone know if it's g2g?

According to Epocrates, there could be an adverse interaction with corticosteroid. Risk of Hypercalcemia and Edema. It's under "Caution advised".

most nasal spray steroids are very low dose, since it is only needed to act locally on the nasal lining. and as such, very little if any is actually absorbed or have a systemic effect. so i think its safe to use together with your trt.

but..... if its really an infection, i would think you should need an antibiotic more than you need a steroidal spray. unless you're given both...

Yeah, I was given Cefuroxime as well to treat the infection. But I wasn't really concerned about the an adverse reaction with that as I was with the corticosteroid.
