Anyone have access to carfax reports and/or service records?
Looking to buy a 5 series BMW and wondering if anyone has access to carfax reports and/or service records like the dealership has?
On another note, if you own a 5 series BMW from 2004 and up, any dislikes or things I should look out for when buying used with no warranty?
Thanks in advance.

Hey man don't you just type the vehicles vin into car fax .com and go from there? Go for low miles! Bmw's are costly to fix!! Great cars though.

^ I think you pay for like 5 Vins per year. Lots of people ask for codes because most people don't use up the 5 vins.

If you go to a dealership with the vin # they can give you info on any work that has been done in any dealership.

FYI car fax doesnt mean you will def know the true history of the car, just whats been reported. The best route is the old fashion way and bring a mechanic to inspect it from top to bottom for a $100. They have places like this all over US now because of ebay.
Mobile Mechanic.
