So about a week ago I was driving past the garden state mall. It's not too far from me..... It's on the way to my gf parents house. So we're driving and talkin about the Colorado movie theater shooting and I said to her "isn't it weird...... When it happens somewhere else it feels foreign to us. But imagine if it happened at the garden state mall?" She goes "yea that would hit home and be scary"
Welp..... Looks like it actually happened. Fvcking weird! Thank god nobody was hurt but so far they havnt found the shooter. They think he changed clothes and is still in the mall. My gf's best friend is trapped in a store room of a department store right now while the mall is on lock down. They're doing a full sweep and interviews.Last edited by Hazard; 11-04-2013 at 11:30 PM.

Jeez. I'm going to start wearing kevlar when I go to the mall. It's not safe anymore.

It’s a new world. This can happen anywhere in the world these days. I pretend like it will never happen most of the time or it would drive me insane!
Thanks

I live in Connecticut and right around when the Batman movie theater shootings happened I asked my little sister if she was going to go see the movie still.
She replied with "no way I don't want to get shot". I told her "this is Connecticut that would never happen up here, people in CT aren't that crazy".
To my surprise, shortly after the Sandy Hook shooting happened 20 minutes away from where I live. I guess it can happen anywhere.Last edited by Venom; 11-05-2013 at 07:45 AM.

We had a fairly large mall shooting in the mall we normally went to. It was strange walking around in there days after it happened. It made it a bit less strange knowing I had 15 180grain Gold Dot's on me
