Need to vent
Anyone else ever want to take your wife/ girlfriends smart phone and throw it off a wall? Im about at the end of my rope with the whole thing because she just doesnt understand why my blood boils when she is sitting around on the thing when there are 49 other things we could be doing.

Mine somehow turned this around in her head. I told her how it was an hour ago how it was stupid that she was sitting there on that thing while the kids were bugging her for some attention. She somehow went out the door 5 minutes ago blaming her for wrecking her day and that she can not believe that i would do this when she had so many report cards to finish by Monday. OH MY GOD!!!

FB is a very good business tool. Without going into a lot of particulars, used properly social media will increase search engine rankings for a business website.
What i absolutely can not stand about it is that people give reports all day long with pics showing everything they do in daily routines. There breakfast, lunch, afternoon Starbucks along with a pic of course of their afternoon Latte, which of course no one has ever seen before.
They can not wait for the notification to go off and see if they received a like. Being in Vegas you have every Stripper pretending to be a model as if they are making a living as a model. Everyone thinks their famous because they started a fan page with absolutely no justification for doing it.
Obsessed with the ridiculous app, to many people waste productive time on senseless BS.
Only 5-10% post anything informative and educational, the rest just expose themselves and their family to what should be private, but feel they need more likes so it's posted to the world of nut cases.
I always like the photo of the family of fatty's posting a gigantic fattening meal for the kids to grovel down so they can catch up with obese mom and dad.
Hope i didn't offend anyone, but figure i am safe about the fatty family on this forum.
Anyways i lose friends on FB every time i post something like "no one really cares about what your eating for lunch and what time you used the restroom," but sometimes when the news feed is cluttered with the same junk, i have to respond once in awhile. Being that most of them are not real friends, who cares.
Try hiding that phone for a couple hours and watch the frantic freaking out begin. Anyways i like my tech toys and utilize the net heavily for business, but people have lost face time and the ability to communicate with each other face to face has become too much a thing of the past.

Don't even get me started. This is one if my life's biggest frustrations. I have a wife and two daughters who are glued to their phones.
We have rules for the kids but my wife does not lead by example.
Today for instance, I had the entire family turn off the phones and made them watch a documentary about kids in Cambodia and what they have to go through to live.
It's called Small Voices made in 2008. I highly recommend it if you want a wake up call.
I know I'm off topic but these kids beg and steal everyday to make $2.00. Around Halloween, my daughter's friend asked her to go to a haunted house. That effing thing was $27.00. I nearly fell over. Are you fking kidding me?

Ohh yeah I can relate.
EXACTLY... I think it's porn to women. You know how us guys can get wrapped up in watching to much porn (no such thing as to much ) and how hours will just slip away.
Welcome to the world of women's logic. It's always OUR fault.... lol

I did one better. I took my daughter to Philippines when she was 16 with me so she could see how much importance they put into education and the kids will walk long distances, study hard and still have to work while living in extreme poverty conditions but they are proud and excited about going to school.
It was a total backfire. She is cute, very white and she was treated like a celebrity everywhere we went. You would think one of the Disney stars was visiting them. Everyone wanted to take a picture with here, boys and girls. Everyone wanted her to be their friend on facebook.
We have also decided to make a rule in our new house that during breakfast, lunch, dinner and movies we will turn off all phones, pads, tablets and not be allowed to pick them up until after we are all done with our meals.

I live on my devices, everyday, all the time, day in and day out!!!
Thanks
