Roman checking in..........
Well mates and lasses,
Ol' Roman here seems to have been away for awhile. Health has returned to about 85+%, haven't been to the gym in about 2 months, and feeling especially slim (210lbs). The food is good, and doesn't make me sick, so it's three big ones a day and one midnight raid into the kitchen.
One of my sides is prolonged sleep. I hit the sack early thurs after work, and can easily sleep for about 18 hours. But my drowsiness seems to be abating as my health returns.
The gym at our compound is better than expected. Not much for the legs. no leg press, so the glutes are not well represented with equipment. leg extensions and leg curls are spoken for. Bench, and fairly extensive dumbbell selection with rack also provided.
I'm thinking after returning from vacation, after the new year, i'll give 'er a go and see how much weight (and how quickly) I can add to my frame.
So other than that, how has everyone been, and what's been going on?
Cheers!
---Roman

TR whats up buddy !! Was thinking about u a couple days ago.. Glad ur getting better
In case it hasnt occurred to u: one leg DB squats are brutal man and it sounds like u have the stuff to do em. Use a bench for the foot not working to stabilize u.
Hope to see u around a bit more often

you are correct my friend. I can certainly compensate for not having traditional equipment. dumbell and one legged squats are certainly on the list. but i'm thinking after the new years, since going home for the holidays (shhhh... my kid don't know and he's a member here...) and holidays are a disrupting time trying to get back into the swing of things.....
I still respond to all PM's. last batch took me two weeks to return messages. but i won't forget
thank you giggle. i miss me around here too! =)
yep. how can i forget about my buddy austinite? and damn man, you had 20k posts towards the end of august, and now look at you? you are a posting machine!
HA HA HA....
....yes mate, it most certainly means i no longer have "the shits"

thanks mate!
Hey Al!
Long time no hear. How you been? Keeping the rubber side down?
it is a long slow process, not sure why taking so long? had a complete battery of blood tests june/july time frame, which is how I found out last time here, I had Hep A and didn't know it. I did know about the salmonella, but it took a month of heavy antibiotics and rest to recover....
naw, I don't usually throw out brain busters. I usually wait for 405 to say something, and then when I feel real ornery, I'll take a poke at one of his buttons, and THAT's when the debate usually begins. (love ya 405!)
good to hear mate. since no one here knows me, cept one fella that recommend the party bring me on board, when I tell others i'm down about "40 gym pounds" they just kinda scratch their head not knowing what I'm talking about. I show them my slacks, and there is about two inches of excess at the waist (pants too big), and my belt is on it's tightest notch. I eat these huge meals and not gain any weight. People have commented on that, asking how I can eat so much and not get fat. but i'm hoping to fix all that after the holildays. 250 might be too big for me now (due to back pains), but im sure I can make a go at a very lean 240...
....so we'll see!
thanks mate
Hey Mr. Jimmy.....
