question on student loan and travelling
Can someone tell me whether or not having an outstanding unpaid student loan in arrears can prevent the borrower from travelling abroad, i mean outside united states? I have over $35K in federal student loan, and some dude told me so long I have not attempt to make payments, chances are that at the airport I will not be alllow to travel outside the country? so my question is...does having a loan of any kind restrict your freedom to movement?

I doubt the airlines give a rats ass about your financial situation or your credit history!

You get a passport/Visa, buy a plane ticket and go through customs. They don't check your credit history of give a shyt if you have unpaid bills.

You shouldn't be traveling if you're behind on you're loans!
I don't know you're situation but why haven't you attempted to pay them?Last edited by diesel101; 12-11-2013 at 05:14 PM.
