My wife had both eyes done years ago. I believe they gave her something to relax her prior to the procedure. The surgery worked great. She went for worse than 20/400 uncorrected to 20/15 in left eye and 20/20 in the right eye.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Surgery went great. I have been sleeping all day. That's nothing new though. It was painless just weird. Good thing I took that pill or I for sure would have freaked out when they put a suction cup on my to cut open the lense.

I'm tired of contacts, thinking about getting it soon. I'm a little bit afraid.

Question about it...my brother had it done years ago but he still has to wear glasses to read. He is 46. Is this a normal thing or does it all depend on what you elect to have done? I have heard they can correct one eye for being the strong eye for distance and the other for close.
I have thought about it before also but have had reservations in committing.

How much did you pay for it? I am going to be getting it done for sure in the future. I spend roughly $400 a year on contact lenses anyways, so it will pay for itself in the long run. But holy crap I will probably freak out I get nervous just thinking about it.

I paid 3600 for both eyes visions great. I have to get get a check up in the morning I'll let you know then. They can do it so one eye see far and the other near and your brain compensates.

You have no idea how much your brain can compensate. One eye is 20/15 and my other is worse than 20/200 uncorrectable and all horizontal & vertical lines are wavy due to detached retina. I dont even notice most of the time.

There is different types, lasik, laser, ect. Im still wondering which is the best... It's mostly my right eye that has gotten worse, i'm 22 but I feel like it might just get worse after the surgery as it has in the past few years.

I had it done about 7 or 8 years ago. Best thing I ever did and I can only imagine the procedures have vastly improved over the last 8 years. I don't really remember much of it, but it was painless and over in about 30 mins total I think. Did have a pretty decent headache for a while afterwards but other than that, it all went very smoothly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone
