Done with Pre work out
I think i am done using pre work out. I either get zoned out and get a crap work out or I don't have an appetite afterwords and can't eat enough food. Just another expense that in the long run isn't doing me good. Any one else stay away from the stuff?

I used to use them but stopped all caffine due to high BP and probably some paranoia. Better workouts without them.

I had the same exact issue, now I use it on and off. One week for mon/thurs, next week for tues/fri. Those days when I take it, I do my heavy intense work outs. Help break things up.

i gave my last tub away..

Anything mass produced in tubs is generally junk anyway. Make your own and you'll be happy. A decent pre workout works great. Or just take 5mg Cialis and call it a day.

yeah that's a lot of caffeine lol. Of one truly has his mind right, I think hes ready to go in the gym. The preworkout just helps "mentality" as I would say. I used them when I first started, but not anymore.

I've stopped buying almost all otc supplements. I notice a difference slightly but not enough to make me spend an extra 60 dollars per month for a pwo stack. I agree with austinite that commercial canned 'supplements' are garbage.
5mg cialis, 5g arginine, 600mg nac, vitamin c, fish oil and a few other vitamins daily, 1mg b12 inj. every 3 days. That's it. And lots of food.Last edited by Java Man; 01-08-2014 at 04:23 AM. Reason: One milligram B12! Not one gram lol. Oops!

I'm done with pre-workouts as well. Pretty much poison in a jug. Not to mention they do a number on your BP too.

im going against the grain here as I use one daily, I do physical labor 12-15 hrs a day on my feet and to be honest I need some sort of push to help me when I get to the gym...I realize it may be a placebo effect but buy taking one I can blast through my workouts with better focus which in turn keeps me safe from injury...it doesn't matter what brand it is cus I source my own dmaa 1,3 and add that to it...to each there own I guess...

This caught my attention. This really works? How much of a difference does it do for you?
Thanks

I got real Jack3d..... But I'm at the point now where it doesn't get me jacked up. I kind of have been feeling lethargic without it and if I go a few days without it or any sort of energy drink, I get some pretty wicked headaches.
But yeah, for a while, I was trying literally every different pre-workout at gnc and vitamin shoppe trying to find one that gave me the fix that Jack3d gave me. Nothing did the trick. So eventually, I broke down and Googled a supplement store that still had the original formula.

Sounds like you have a little caffeine dependency there Honkey.
I did as well. I toughed it out for a few days and kept a some Advil close. Now I don't need any caffeine at all and it's a much better feeling IMO.
I miss it in the morning a little as it takes some extra time to wake up bit otherwise I'm glad I don't use it any more.
You ready for Saturday?!

I used them all the time but I also thought that prohormones worked and that the Easter Bunny was real.

I've been on pre workouts for quite a few years. I think it's time I stop using them for awhile. It's just a thing I'm so use to doing before I workout.

I think I'm going to stop brushing my teeth before bed. I've been doing that for a while now. Just a thing I'm used to doing.

It's not a little dependency..... I'm a full on caffeine junkie. I've tried to tough it out, but the lethargy and headaches were too much for me. And before you know it, I'm pounding RedBulls and taking way more than the label dose of the pre-workouts.
I'm actually kind of nervous about Saturday... We need a TE really badly. And Luck makes me nervous. He can pull shit out of his ass and ruin the day for us.
Go PATS!
