have you done these maneuvers
1.How many times have you spotted someone from like 20 feet away that is strangling or about to strangle themselves with a bar while attempting to bench to much without a spotter. Then you have to do what I call the running hero maneuver and jog over to them (typically ripping out your head phones) and lift the bar off their dying body. If it is a female I approach from the front and straddle the bench, leaving my crouch directly over their mouth. Just kidding on that last part.
2.This next one happens on the over head row machine. You're lifting a lot of weight (obviously) and you need to use your bodies momentum to pull the weight down. So you swing down and hook your knees under the brace....along with your head phone cord, thus pulling them from your ears and ruining your set. Whats the solution? Before you grab the bar and do your swing down, you place your head phone cord in your mouth. I dont have a catchy name for this one but im sure I am not the only one that dose this.
3. The donkey kong! This one is when you are attempting military press with no lifting partner. So, while standing, you swing the weights back and when they come forward you swing as hard as you can and get the weight on your shoulders. Now you have them heavy ass weights on your shoulders and slowly back up using the mirror to guide you between the seat, then you slowly squat down and begin, an acceptable replacement for this is the knee kicker lean back combo.
4. Territory marking. This is simple. You bring along something with you that you normally wouldn't for the soul purpose of marking your seat when you're taking a break for a drink or Prework out poop. Nothing is worse than loosing you seat when you were only gone for a few seconds. Typically if I don't have a water bottle, Ill grab a stretch band and leave it on or next to the seat whilst I get my drink.
What other maneuvers do you employ?

Luckily I now live in a retirement community and the gym rarely has anyone lifting weights. : ) But I definitely used to use my water bottle to mark my territory.

When I do incline dumb bell press, depending on the type of shirt I am wearing, when I do the knee kick to get the dumb bells up it will often lift my shirt up to below my chest exposing my mid section. To prevent this I do the shirt tuck just before the knee ups.

We're going to win this year, I can tell. Their offense has been playing with heart all season long. You just don't beat a team with that much heart on the field. And on top of that, they've got the greatest QB of all time at the helm. His numbers don't show it, but this year he's been playing his finest football yet.
Next year, I'm hoping we can beat Eli in the Superbowl.

The only thing New England has left to prove in football is to beat The Giants in the postseason.
But, let's face it, The Giants aren't ever going back to another Superbowl during Eli's shit career. If the Giants knew what was good for them, they'd release that bum Eli and use the cap room to get themselves a good rookie QB prospect and try to rebuild their defense. They went from having one of the best defenses in the sport to one of the worst in a matter of a couple seasons.

When Brady-patriots beat manning broncos Sunday Brady will be without a doubt the best QB in nfl history
the broncos do have way more talent but as stated by honkey kong we have more heart.
Pats 34 broncos 31
Super Bowl
Pats 28 Seattle 23

By the way, Haz, are you on The Pats' bandwagon yet? I hope you're not pulling for those fvcking Broncos to win.

I actually was talking to my "buddy" at the gym and he says he doesn't use bar clips just incase he has to tip the bar to slide the weights off if he can't get it up (lol)..Im like wtf.... Also let it be on record I watch those people who try to lift too much weight with out a spotter, I will not help them, that is absolutely ridiculous, everyone should know their limits, if your trying to go beyond find a spotter, anyone will do.

Why work out if you arent going to push yourself beyond your limits? That's how you grow in size and strength. If you always just go to the safe spot you wont continue to grow. It's called working to failure meaning you cant do any more but you still try.
Not everyone can have a spotter all the time. I work out at 3am and there is no one else there. I dont use collars either.

Back in the day when I went to a commercial gym there was this retard who would load the bar up on bench day (like 315) and fail miserably. Every time someone would have to run over and save him. He would then (every single time) add weight and try it again with the same result. I refused to help as did the gym owners. Half the gym hoped he's kill himself doing this.
