There are a few senior members here that are Italian. I won't point them out, in the event they don't feel like disclosing. But I imagine he will step in soon enough?

My Mom's side is Italian and my Dad's side is Polish, at least that's what I was told. Then someone talked me into trying that heritage test thing and it gives percentages of different ethnic backgrounds. I think I was mostly European, then Polish, then German and a little bit (lowest) of Italian. Also, I was 3% African.
And yes, that 3% is in my pants.

Lo sono di New York City. Il mio italiano è così così...
My grandparents came from Sicily. I am going on my honeymoon next year and spending two weeks in Italy. We are going to Sardinia, Rome and the Almafi Coast. I had a goal to be able to speak fluent Italian by time our honeymoon came. I would love to visit Lake Como one day. It looks really nice.

You will have a really great time in your honeymoon, these are beautiful places . Italian language is kinda hard to learn, even for the natives! Como Lake ( the proper name of the lake is "Lario" ) is really nice. If you are a motorcyclist, i suggest you taking a ride around it, you will not regret it!

Yeah quite sure. Her dad was pretty high up in politics and still had some (according to her) strong family contacts to help with any issues that might arise.
When she was telling me at first I though it was a threat/warning that I had better not do her wrong but instead she was letting me know dont worry no one would be messing with her/me or our relationship. It's a LONG complicated story but all good.
