The market for women wanting to carry and learn to shoot is huge! Its like what I see at the gym with women. They wont take any advice from their SO but will pay a stranger $100 an hour to yell at them lol.

Austin...have you tried the XDS? Its fantastic is the 9mm and .45 although it does have a bit of a crack to it in the .45. I just picked up the XDS for the wife who is becoming an amazing shooter.
The wife carries the SP101 w/ bobbed hammer in .357 sometimes. Load it w/ .38+P for her. It's got a decent amount of weight so the recoil is minimized. The barrel length is 2.25". Believe the Ruger catalog is 5720. She also has a S&W model 12-2 Airweight that is lighter( name kinda told you that...).
She has no problem carrying either in a small cross body purse. I've tried to convince her to let me bob the hammer on the Airweight, but she won't hear of it. It's hers, so more power to her.

G26 most of the time and S&W J frame as backup (shin holster) ...

and when my license is expired and while they renew it i carry a Tanfoglio 6.25 acp or a pen gun which is extreme case scenario when i really need to carry.

was looking for one of those american arms .22 revolvers (the foldable ones) coz i figure that would be real cool to conceal and used in xtreme cases but then its like USD 3000 (when its not more than 150$ in USA) !!!!

    Springfield Armory's XDS 9mm + a concealed weapon's purse

something similar to what is found here: The Concealed Carry Purse

IMO that's a bad idea. A concealed weapon should be kept on your person at all time. Especially women purses and handbags are the #1 thing stolen by either taking it in a split second when not looking or being distracted by someone else or a yank and grab off of their person.

Glock is selling out and reportedly adding a side safety switch and possibly a back strap safety similar to springfield of the 1911.

carry guns should not have external safeties or hammers imo!

I have carried a G27 for years, it's my favorite & carry it everyday. The wife loves her Smith & Wesson Airweight .38 (hamerless).

Ruger .38 LCR in the winter with an extra speed loader for a quick reload. Ruger .380 LCP in the summer with an extra magazine. The .380 is smaller and easier to conceal in warm weather attire and you won't be shooting through heavy clothing if the situation ever arose. The .38 is still small enough to conceal with winter clothes and packs more punch to shoot through heavy winter clothing if needed.

One of the guys I shoot with carries a SigP238. It functions well....even.if the rounds are loaded @ light/heavy ends of recommended load data. It tends to get lost in my hand, but it shoots great.

You can't beat the blue label discount. It has saved me a few hundred bucks over the years.

I remember starting this topic here a while ago.
Best two I have cz 75 9m single action and the 92fs.
For a girl .38 revolver will do, under pressure and adrenaline I can't imagine a female clearing a jam.

LMAO....it's good to see so many people interested in firearm safety, selection, and application. Familiarity breeds competency.

No issues with the bodyguard. shot a bunch of target loads and a few boxes of carry stuff. I was worried about light striker based on what I had heard but no issues with mine so far.
