Retinal Blastoma; a rare eye disease, please help
This is for anyone who can shed some light on a rare, albeit, very serious medical condition. Retinal Blastoma is a cancer that affects the eyes and can afflict 1 child in about 20,000. My fiance and I think that her four year old son might be exhibiting one early sign. The white pupil in a photograph in which the other pupil has the infamous "red eye". She watched the Dateline NBC episode the other day in which it depicted the plight of a young boy.
We have a opthamologist appointment for him on 6/11 and I am wondering if anyone here has ever experienced this or if anyone on here has the medical knowledge to help us out.
Thanks to all!!
