    Bulimia....

    Just some food for thought

Do you lot think that bulimia (binge on food) is triggered from deprivation of food from dieting or a genuine psychological disorder that occurred due to an emotional experience in an individual's life.

I watched a video where this person says that her bulimia came from dieting for so long and restricted herself so much that one day she went balls to the walls with food and it became a habit.
Is this fear even present in the bodybuilding world?

Ive never heard of it in the bodybuilding world, I would think there isnt any straight forward answer but low self esteem, OCD, depression, eating disorder, stress, anxiety and a fear of getting fat or simply a mental health problem

If I binge I would never purge. I couldn't risk losing gains.

Yes, I believe and have seen both first hand and in the literature how overly restrictive dieting can lead to eating disorders. Not sure how much if a fear it is to the BB'ing crowd but it is real.

But seriously, what's the highlight of a party for bulimics?

Bulimia Nervosa is mostly characterized by purging (inducing vomiting) after a meal. The overeating thing isn't really pertinent, though it is common because they're so damn hungry in the first place.
And it isn't an issue with BBers or anyone who diets for a reason, since it is a psychological condition involving poor body image and an overwhelming fear of being fat.
