    New Status Labels?

    Well, like I said in my other post, I haven't been around much, cuz of work, getting in 40-50 hours a week, I barely have time to workout, yet alone spend much time on AR

    Anyways, was just wondering how the new status names work. Why the change? Who's idea was it? Bla bla bla, you know.

    um - did Big Green read out the rule yet that states SMods have discretion to give thier choice of name to those that they deem are post whoring?

    So how long do you guys think it will take me to whore up 700+ posts so that I can get my damn Senior Member title back?

    In all seriousness, are you guys going to take anything into consideration as far as titles go other than number of posts a member has put up? It seemed to me that you guys used to do so. I say this b/c it seemed as though I achieved Senior Member pretty quickly with what seemed to me to be a low number of posts. I had kind of thought that it was due in some part to the amount of knowledge I possesed about AAS rather than solely the number of posts I had. Perhaps it was just wishful thinking and a bit of delusion of grandeur!

    Excellent, I am indeed a stickler for rules and regulations. However, shouldn't there be some kind of committee/grand council to determine what, exactly, constitutes "post-whoring"? Given that rule 5967-a demands most of my time and knowledge of jurisprudence, I'm afraid i would be of little help in drafting such a sweeping regulation. I will, however, serve (pro bono, of course) as "general counsel" to the group. By the way, I'm really of the opinion that to stop post-whoring, status should be by the word count, not the posts. No personal reason for this, of course
