Floyd Mayweather hugs on the inside - complaints.

I can't be mad..... This was the only boxing match I've ever watched lol. Was hoping for something exciting..... Atleast I can rest assured that I never missed anything.
Mayweather lost in the Olympics but no ones counting that ;-)

Ha pretty much same thing here, thats funny. I'm sure I won't miss anything in the future either.
You know I'll bet there are some great shuffleboard and curling pros but at least you would know its going to be a snore feast going in.
At least Manny tried to give the people a show and do old school boxing. If Floyd ever meet his equal can you imagine? They would each stay on separate sides of the ring cowering and hiding behind their gloves only to sneak to the other side once in a whole to throw a jab and run back.
Frankly 48/0 means nothing to me. I would rather watch someone e with a 20/30/history if I knew it would be a good show.
Well xjay1234 it sounds like you are a true fan. I have a feeling you won't have any trouble finding tickets to the next Floyd shuffleboard I mean boxing event.Last edited by lovbyts; 05-05-2015 at 05:25 PM.

Wrong Klitschko always get crap for their boring Jab Jab jab hold jab hold style too.
The last Klitschko fight a few weeks ago. Klitschko got 1 or 2 points taken from him in that fight for holding.
Mayweather is a boring boxer.
The Masses of people around the world don't watch boxing to watch a point match.
They watch it to watch two boxers box.
Not dance.
This is the reason MMA is taking over.
1. Take more talent and skill.
2. Most of the time highly enteraining to the mass public.
3. Fighters are motivated to put on a great fight to earn win bonus and possibly a fight bonus.
4. Champions are forced to fight #1 contender that the promotion see fit.
No dodging opponents no padding their win column.

MMA all too often comes down to two fools in bike shorts humping each other on the ground.
Boxing is (usually) more entertaining IMO. Crawford, Golovkin, Kovalev. All undefeated so far, all great, entertaining, and still rising fighters.
Given the choice between tickets to, say, a Brandon Rios or a Mayweather bout.... ask yourself who you'd rather see. Greatest of this generation? I think not.

I got sucked into this thread and tried hard not to post! lol
In MY opinion, this fight was the nail in the coffin for boxing. I rearranged my entire day to see a great fight, much like that of the fights 8-10 years ago. What a joke. Watching Mayweather box was like playing a guy on a video game who knows all the secrets on where to hide and shoot you when you cant do shit about it all game.
I thought in boxing you had to show aggression or you were deducted points? I AM NOT A BOXING EXPERT, so I really dont know, but one would think that you had to show up to FIGHT or you would not get points.
Anyway... that will be the last $100 (and TIME!) I spend on two 135lb fighters who arent in the ring to break something.
I think the Manny / Mayweather fight "Jumped the shark" for boxing lol BOOOORING

LoL. No not at all..
I think that is also what killed the show. I remember all the hype built up for over a week and how epic it was going to be then fizzle. The show died quickly after that. I hope thats what happens to Mayweather.
I guess Manny had his shoulder surgery yesterday. No sling today. Glad to see that. Most people wear a sling to long. I was in about 2/days and started pt on the 3rd day.

Off topic, I met Tyson at a club in Vegas... the guy was cool as hell and believe it or not, he was a LOT smaller than I thought he would be. When he posted "I came here for this" I knew my opinion of the fight was right on. Boxing is over

The boxing coach I was with said the same thing about Tyson, said he was a great guy to talk to, down to earth, a good guy. He said the media would ask him questions to get him going because he wasn't the smartest guy and when he didn't have an answer for them he would start to fly off the handle. It's a shame what happened, he probably could have went down as the best or at least tied for the best with Ali, the guy was simply amazing in the early stages of his career.
