Successful Surgery Today
Hey all, I had started a few previous threads asking for some advice on how to handle everything.
As a person who lost 90 lbs almost 8 years ago when I began to train seriously, I've dealt with some loose skin and confidence issues because of it.
Today, I had a mini abdominoplasty to take care of this. I can't wait for the results and will finally be confident enough to post some pics eventually.
I've been running TB500, high dose Glutamine, Vitamin E and probiotics. I've also made some bone broth with collagen and plan to assist with the best healing possible along with keeping protein high. If there are any suggestions let me know, but mostly just wanted to thank everyone for the prior support!

TB 500 is good. Take it easy and recover fully before you start hitting the gym!

Congrats!!!
Keep us posted on your recovery, I'm very interested on how it all goes and any tips on minimizing scars/healing fast and staving muscle waste while you're not lifting.
I too need work like this, full tuck + nip/tuck just to remove hanging skin.
Wishing you a speedy recover, can't wait to see the results!

Hey Drew Z...my plan has been to keep protein very high, don't skimp on calories and once I can, probably 10 days or so, start using some very, very light band training just for some stimulus.
Obviously there's going to be no way to not hurt gains a little, but I honestly don't think it will be that bad even if it takes me the full 4 weeks they said it could before I can really start lifting again.
My follow-up appointment is Friday and I will be asking these questions. Will provide you an update.
