Getting out
The time has come for me to leave the active duty army. Debating on whether or not I'll be entering the guard. I plan on going to school when I get out and get a job through the unemployment center or the local temp agency where I'm from. Both have departments specifically for veterans. Anybody else making big changes soon?

I got out of the marines coming up to four years now. I wish I went to school when I got out. I'd be graduating soon lol. I'm looking to buy a house soon. Going to be talking to a realtor this week. Getting really tired of renting. It's like throwing money away.
Good luck with the transition into the CIV DIV. It's glorious and frustrating all at the same time.

Oh yeah. Try and get all your VA benefits set up before you get out. It's a pain trying to do it after and takes forever

use your GI bill, go crank out a masters degree in engineering or grab a medical/law degree. Don't settle for a dead-end job.
