Going on vacation with research chems
This Friday I will be flying down to Florida and going on a 7 day cruise. Unfortunately this will also be the start of PCT for me. I have had clomid prescribed for me in the past and still have the pills and box with the rx label on it so im not too worried about that. But I have liquid tamox and I was also going to bring liquid cia (for obvious reasons). Im a little worried because not only am I flying with them, I will have to go through customs as well. Has anyone had any experience with this? Im assuming I will probably be fine but just would like some input on it.

I wouldn't risk it.

Hell no. In august when I flew to phoenix they took my toothpaste and body spray. So what do you think they would do about some sketchy liquid in a bottle with a generis label on it? So answer is dont do it. Best case scenario they throw it away and tell you to move along.

Thats weird... did you try to bring that stuff in your carry on or something? I really didnt think this would be that bad... I mean, the clomid was prescribed to me and it will be in the box from the pharmacy with the rx label with my info in it. And the research chems are just liquids in a bottle... If I can legally buy it for research purposes I should be able to have it in my suite case right?

Just put it in you toiletries bag and don't carry it in your carryon. I've taken my CIA and T3 all over Asia that way and never had problems. I also have taken my test, hcg , but I always put it in my shave bag and in my luggage.

Old spice fiji. Not a very big bottle at all I would say I was just unlucky and got picked to be inspected. Probably because my looks but if I had a towel on my head I probably wouldnt of had any trouble.

I would not take it in my carry on. I dont log my bad, I only use colored pipe cleaners twisted to hold the sippers together and never put anything of value in there, except for alcohol on the way home.
Oh dont forget to take a few bottles of vitawater with straight alcohol so you dont go broke on the ship. Fruit juices are free so you have plenty of mix. If it's your first cruise make sure to use the room service EVERY morning. Great way to wake up with fresh fruit, smoked salmon and hot coffee.
What kind of room did you get? I am spoiled and almost always get a balcony room or suite.

I wasnt going to put any of it in my carry on... I think that would be just asking for trouble. I should be ok with it in my suite case right?
This will be my forth cruise... I love it. We got a balcony room last year and we are doing it again this year. Going on one of the huge boats- Oasis of the seas... cant wait.

NICE, it has a zipline? Very cool. I need to go on another one soon. Ive been on??? 8 or 9? Ive always gone with Carnival and a different location most every time.
My best cruise was down to Belize. We stopped in Cozumel and my friend and I lost track of time and when we got back the ship had left. hahaha
There were some port authorities waiting for us and said we would have to go to another port not to far away to catch it on it's way back or fly home. They said it's impossible to get to Belize from there. Challenge!!! 24hrs and 3 bus transfers we made it to Belize border and $3 short of the boarder entry charge. After the guard figured out we were not going to argue with him and we only blamed ourselves he paid the other $3. lol
Best trip ever. We meet a lot of people and saw a lot of country we would not have seen. These were not commercial air conditioned buses. 1960 retired school bus.
If it was me I would just put everything together such as your RX and Vitamins. I would not put any RX such as pain killers because they would love to get those, I do carry on for those type.Last edited by lovbyts; 01-11-2016 at 10:32 PM.

God that sounds crazy haha. I would hate to miss the boat. Yes this one has a zipline lol My girlfriend is already bugging me to go on it haha. Ive heard Carnival is more of a party boat? I love Royal Caribbean though. One of our stops is Cozumel. We've been there once on a previous cruise... its a pretty fun place.
So you think if I just put the research chems in my luggage with my other meds/toiletries ill be ok?

If I was worried about it I would probably put it in a liquid B-12 bottle with my other vitamins.
Ziplines are fun and really no big deal once you have done one, especially a little one like that on the ship. Yeah Carnival is more a party ship sort of but it can be quite annoying also because there seems to be a lot or trailer trash on most every cruise. I need to try the other cruise lines sometime soon.
Ive been to Cozumel several times and yeah it's fun but if you haven't been to the pyramids yet skip Cozumel and do a day trip there. There is a new one called Coba. Only a small part has been unearthed but IMO it's better than Chichen itza because you are still allowed to climb the pyramids and it's not nearly as commercial as Chichen Itza yet. Tulum is also good and a LOT closer, it's right on the cost so you dont have to worry about a 1hr+ drive each way like you do to Chichen Itza. Coba is in the middle of the two.
Dont forget to bring your own alcohol if you plan to drink. It will save you a few hundred easily.

I think Royal Caribbean is the only way to go... It seems like they always have the nicest boats and nothing but the best of everything. Yes alcohol is always a killer.... I dont want to ruin all the hard work ive put into my body so im going to keep the drinking to a minimum.

I got one of those little medical bags and I put everything in there test with a script, T3, stane, cia, asprin ... etc... whatever. Then I put it in my luggage (not carry on) I have been to Jamaica 3 times like that with no problem. I figure they see my script and figure I am good, but have never had my luggage searched yet.

maybe i'm just lucky, but i travel frequently and carry gear and pins in my carry on - i've never had a problem. i have also gone through customs a couple of times this way.

This ^^ is what I've done, also... But if you have RX bottles(Up to date) and it doesn't describe the pill(color/shape - and do not mix your RX with non RX especially if your doing what I did)...I've put clomid in one, var in another, nolva in one(but these were only tabs)... And I put them in my clear plastic bag in 'their bottles w/RX and nog had a problem... If I were to bring a vial or so it'd definitely be in my carry on! Just my .02

I don't have a special medicine bag per say but I keep them all together in my shaving bag, prescription bottles as they are saying and having an RX with it is a good idea. No one will look twice at anything.
Only once did I ever have anyone ask about anything and that was in Japan. I had a special cold pack container with my Hgh in it and my other prescriptions on top. They started to open it and pull things out until they saw the RX on it and the bottles were rx so they put it all back and said OK. This was carry on. Ive never even had a 2nd look domestic flights.

Any over 100ml liquid will likely be tossed, and needs to be in proper zip lock bag.
Pills are ok unless you bring a ton, just put it in vit bottle and take only what you need.

I ended up putting my research chems in those travel size liquid containers you can buy. I poured in just enough to get me through the week and then just through the containers out on the day we came home. I put them in my toiletries bag in my suite case and not in my carry on.

How was the vacation besides too short?

I hate to say it but I'm so glad I'm home. I have been battling a sinus infection for the past five weeks on and off and have been on three courses of antibiotics. Well it came back again about two days into the cruise. I was so sick I stayed on the boat for our first stop which was Haiti... But I've been there twice anyways. The beach excursion we booked for Jamaica was pretty terrible... The water was full of sea weed. We did have a good time in cozumel at senor frogs.
The boat, oasis of the seas, wasn't that great quite frankly. The zip line was lame... Really short and you go painfully slow. I think there was over 5000 passengers which was just way too much, considering they really didn't make the bars, pool deck, and dining rooms much bigger to accommodate the extra guest. The ac never got the room cool (probably more state rooms than the ac can handle) so that made sleep difficult. I think royal Caribbean realized they made a mistake jamming that many people on a ship... Which is why their new ships, which are even bigger, hold less people.
But being my first week of pct I was already nervous about taking a week off my diet and training, and getting sick again on top of that really made me scared. I got home and stepped on the scale and I had lost 15lbs... Makes me never want to leave home again.

Senor Frogs? It's pretty good on a weekend night, very lively but during the day??
Yeah I didnt think a whole lot of Jamacia either. I had also heard from a lot of people to stay away from the beach because of all the pushy vendors. We actually did a dolphin swim when we were there that wasn't bad. I think Jamaica was good 30+ years ago.
lol, yeah I figured the zip line wouldnt be much. Too short. They had a decent one in Mexico where there were 10 inter connected so once you start you cant stop.

Yeah senor frogs was great. We went to cozumel about 4 years ago and we had a great time then too. Everyone is there to have a good time and all the bartenders are fun. Plus with all the shot girls running around they really don't let anyone stay sober lol. We went to a great beach in Jamaica on one of our cruises but they closed that excursion so we gave this one a try. I really just feel bad for my girlfriend... Vacations are her thing and this year seemed like a bust.

Yeah I hear you. I have had those but also I have had some where I could not wait to go back, such as Thailand. I scheduled my next trip less than 24hr after getting home and was there again in less than 90 days. You know it's a good vacation when you literally feel like you are leaving home but in fact you are going home.
