    "Available on backorder" means?

    Finally it looks like my best mk677source is back on track. My mk677source these days stinks.
    But hva does it mean. Under their productinfo it says that backorderthing? ...So my english native friends....available on backorder means?

    Generally means you can go.ahead and order it, but they don't have it in stock yet.

    Available on back-order generally means not to order - you're right to wait with your transaction. If you do purchase before the company has stock, a) I think the company operates in poor taste & b) you'll be the guinea pig as you'll be the first one harmed/disappointed (potentially - given the strong assumption they are awaiting raw materials direct from a supplier and not 3rd party/independent analysis guaranteeing quality control).
