    Niacin B3 flushing type.

Started to take it for lowering my triglycerides .I have changed nothing else in my daily routine. I have worked my way up to 900 MG be for bed.
Any way went and have blood yesterday and passed out due to low bp
    Does niacin lower BP
Or does it make BP meds more productive
BP was 121/56 The bottom number has never dropped that low. That was also taken after lots of water and a cup of coffee

    Interesting.

Niacin can increase histamine, which is vasoactive and can dilate blood vessels.

Are you experiencing any symptoms suggestive of allergic reactions, like stuffy/runny nose?

    Do you have high basophils?

You might want to try anti-histamines and see if it improves. If that is the problem, methylcobalamin can help the body get rid of excess histamine.

That dose of fish oil is too small for improving lipids. You need to take the EPA+DHA content into account and not the whole oil. Target for at least 1g/die; 3g at best.

I want to take less pills not more pills
Suppliments is the way I'd like to go.
The niacin was the main question at the moment just seeing if any one had incidents of it lowering BP and how much with what doses.
