I made a thread not long ago.... 'Flex making a comeback' he's saying he's getting ready for it(he'll need an invite like Levrone) but he's out a lot of size on recently - he's got/had great Full muscle bellies which made him look as big as he was(he was only like 218 on stage when he placed 2nd in the O back in the day...

He said he does want to compete... let's see!

He's gaining size and his triceps are filling out like b4... have a look BG - he also trains legs with Dennis James(who has come up with a newer training technique) MTUT(menacing/major) Time under tension).... he makes you train the concentric movement as slow as 15sec up.... opposite of negative training... Flex just did quads and was laid out lol

Yeah I seen that but I thought that people were saying on that thread they were unsure if he was training to compete. This I guess confirms it.

Yes they were unsure Marsoc.... but as time has gone on he's making good progress... and after settling his lowT it seems he's much healthier! I loved his physique at the prime of his career - one of the best Aesthetically imho

I bet! Flex was only using 4plates aside on leg press:
    -Started with a 72rep set

    -5 regular reps
    -5 MTUT 15sec on concentric
    -5regular
    -5 MTUT
    -3 reg
    -3MTUT
X2 @ 3 ---- this is one set ^(this is just an example - not sure how he did the reps(I need to go check that)
his legs were trashed - laid out Lol. I'm gonna try this b/c of the fact you don't need as much weight - may give extra time later on in life - need that longevity!

I'll have to focus on the slow reps sometime..I'll throw it in here or there but it will make for a real long session if i applied it to my Normal. And I would be trashed. I need to come up with a session and trial and error to see what I can do with real slow like that

I was thinking the same, Marsoc.., it would surely prolong my usual 37-50min sessions(45min usually)...

The session where Dennis James trained Flex's Quads - I believe they did
    Extensions(MTUT)
Angled Leg Press(MTUT) - remember regular reps are combined with his MTUT protocol
    Vertical leg press(MTUT)

3 ex's 30min and it looked viscous - especially not knowing what protocol or how your going to be doing it is such a mindfuck(more mentally than anything imho)

Considering what you have managed to get back from in life don't you have 6 lives left or so by my count?

Huge Flex fan but with his kidney problems do you guys think his body can hold up to all this is entailed to get ready for a pro show?

Think of all food (protein) and then dehydrating for the show.

Good point.... I'd imagine he'll be monitored very closely at the very least
