    Keto medication....

I've been on keto for a while and my dad mentioned to someone at his work who is a very nice gentlemen who has a child with very serious health problems and is on a variety of meds and is on the keto diet to drop some weight I belive.

Anyway he has given me a truck load of keto things that has been prescribed due to him having an absolute abundance of it. I believe you can buy them online somewhere but they are pretty expensive.

They are made by nutricia and are called calogen and ketocal 3:1.

Not sure about the keto cal but the calogen has 50g fat per 100ml with no protein or carbs.

Don't know if I feel right about it ahha and has anyone ever tried this? Strict medical supervision is advised but what are you guys thoughts?

Sounds like a money maker to me, for keto dieting.

For kids to help get cals, whatever it takes. I missed that when I first glanced

It still is just food according to the Nutritional Information. They say Medical Supervision as kids might be on it and who know what the effects for a 6-year-old on Keto might be?

    Sounds interesting.

    1) the kid is probably on a keto diet to treat a seizure disorder. Apparently this works well for some.
    2) If my previous point is correct, the whole point of that supplement is so that he doesn't lose a bunch and continues to grow and thrive, despite being on a diet originally intended for rapid weight loss.

So you don't need this stuff unless you're trying not to lose weight.

That's a way I never thought to look at it... hmm I may hold off. Only use it if I have too or if I have messed my macros for the day and had too much protein
