it is a sad time in the world for sure. when I was young two people could have two different opinions on a topic and that was ok. It seems like todays society doesn't disagree with views anymore....they are offended by them. The real world is going to be very hard for these people. I wish them luck.

Ppl are not offended by political threads, ppl are getting offended by racist and xenophobic posts.

Just remove the racist ppl and political threads (although can be heated) will not be offensive.

true but iv seen the mess many other boards end up like once you let the stupid racist people have their field day. its like flys on shit, more and more gather and post... I am all for no censorship. but only to a degree. a warning then a ban for bigoted racist views should be applied for sure.

Its really just how you discuss things sometimes.
Extend the "no flame" policy somewhat and issues can be talked about without what would constitute openly racist remarks.

We all have our stereotypes and when discussing certain subjects it's easy to forget we're actually talking about other people, and not just other people's political ideals, depending on how you phrase it.

I don't like censorship about anything really,
but yes I've noticed that in some areas, perhaps we (many of us) should be a little more political correct /PC, because when you stop to think about it,
I'm sure that the issue isn't with other people really,
It's about the perceived idea of some people's culture.
(Which sometimes is what you think, many times not, or somewhere in between)
