OK, just saw that this movie is being released soon. It has Mel Gibson & Vince Vaughn as cops.

The writer/producer is uber-violent.

I loved “Brawl In Cellblock 99”, same guy. Vince Vaughn was amazingly bad-ass.

Vince Vaughn, bulky, shaved head, cross tattooed on the back of his head (and still able to crack one or two jokes). Many critics out in Hollywood thought he was worthy of an Oscar nomination.

Saw it over the weekend. Typical for this writer/director, a slow pace in the beginning (it's not an action movie). A solid flick, but like Brawl In Cell Block 99 more.

Dialogue will be MUCH to the liking of the majority of the forum members, VERY consistent with many of the posts here.

One irk from the movie: don't like the inconsistency that blacks can be disguised as whites if it is absolutely the end of the world if now a white actor would be disguised as a black.

Except neither of the two black dudes in Dragged had facial features that could come anywhere close to passing for Caucasoid.

I couldn't swallow a couple of street-hard cops falling for the ol' fake escaping hostage trick, but the most recockulous part was a black man with no visible means of support buying a multi-million dollar beach house with cash and not having the IRS send him to Vacaville for 20 to life for tax evasion.


Gibson has been in a very strange place ever since the incident when he got drunk and said nasty things about Jews, and this was more of the same. Hell, I been known to get drunk and say uncomplimentary things about pussy but that in no wise means I'm anti-pussy. Far fucking from it. Sumbitch gets drunk enough, he's liable to say nasty things about his own mother. But that don't mean he means it.

I do loves me some Udo Kier (Friederich). He does great quirky roles. I especially enjoy him as a drag queen (he does great camp). Too bad most of his films were never released in the US. He's also a renown gun safety expert...



...but even he couldn't save this one.

Definitely a LOT of implausible crap in the movie, but still I didn’t mind. I really was hoping to eventually see the a-hole that was always covered head to toe.
