Pilots on approach to LAX report “guy in a jetpack”
At least two separate flight crews landing at Los Angeles International Airport Sunday night reported seeing what appeared to be a “guy in a jetpack” flying near them....
Yes, it's controlled airspace and yes, the jet-packer violated it.
LAX also was host to what arguably is the most bizarre airspace violation in history, "Lawn Chair Larry," the guy who celebrated his birthday by tying 40+ helium-filled weather balloons to a lawn chair that he got as high as 15,000 feet.

Now the FBI is looking for the pilot.
Shouldn't be to hard to identify him. There can't be many jetpack stores around. Or if you built your own, testing in secret wouldn't exactly be easy.
Also makes you wonder if a device like that could be an effective anti-aircraft weapon.

Pilots coming in to LAX saw rocket man again this past Thursday.
Makes me wonder how often this guy might have flown around there and no one reported it.
